Bend both your knees at a 90 degree angle and hold your position there for 5-10 seconds. Return to your starting position and repeat this process with your other leg.


3. Bench dip




Bench dips is a wonderful exercise that uses your body weight to increase your body mass. By simply sitting straight on a bench and placing your hands on the sides, you can get into position for this exercise. Next, sit on the edge and extend your feet a little. Now without moving your leg, lower yourself at the edge of the seat to form a 90 degree angle. Hold that frame and push yourself back to the starting position. Repeat this exercise 10-15 times to form a set. As it requires a lot of energy, it is a good idea to do it during the beginning of your workout routine.


4. Squats




Apart from helping you gain some muscle weight, squats can also improve your posture, circulation and digestion. For this exercise, you have to stand straight with your feet hip-width apart. Lower down your hips as if you are sitting on a chair and then slowly rise. For beginners, it would be better to use a chair for support, while doing squats. In short, this is a really good weight gain workout that everyone should try.


5. Step Exercise




In order to do a step exercise, you don’t need any equipment. All you need is some stairs at home, and you’ll be good to go. Start with standing straight in front of the step and place your left foot on it, following the right foot. Then, place your left foot down following the right foot. That is all you have to do to finish this routine. And you thought gaining muscle was hard!
